The Satanic Temple sees the figurehead of Satan as more of a metaphor than a deity, according to John Wreisner who is the head of the Minneapolis chapter of the Temple. The group focuses on social activism as a religion, though members of the group are generally atheists. The national group has been in the news for their move to install a monument to Baphomet at the Oklahoma capitol fairgrounds alongside a display of the Ten Commandments, they have created an activity book to pass out to children in schools where bibles are distributed, and locally they have been working to change the culture of religious bullying of GLBT kids in the Anoka-Hennepin School District.

John Wreisner, John Powell and Karissah Peterson are three of the leaders of the local Temple and will be our guests on this show.
