ICH BIN ATHEIST SHOE GIVEAWAY!
This morning we held a giveaway on the air for new pair of Ich Bin Atheist Shoes, courtesy of Ich Bin Atheist Shoes owner, David Bonney . The shoes are size 44 Euro (10-10.5 US men, 11.5-12 US women). They are a cream color and made of soft leather.
At about 9:30am CST we asked the trivia question: "What is the title of Charles Darwin's last book and in what year was it published?" David from San Francisco, California was the first to call in with the correct answer: The Formation of Vegetable Mould through the Action of Worms, with Observations on their Habits, published in 1881 - so we'll be sending out your shoes early next week, David. David Niose will join Atheists Talk this Sunday to discuss his new book, Nonbeliever Nation: The Rise of Secular Americans. Niose spotlights how Humanists are fighting back against the stranglehold that the Religious Right has on our government, schools and politics.
